Measuring right.
v2.9.2 is a patch. No new gameplay. But it matters: a handful of analytics events were recording under the wrong names since v2.8.0 shipped, which meant some of the data we were using to understand how players move through the game was silently wrong.
If you shared a badge, opted into the email list, or saw the Analyst Pass upsell after
a trial run — those events are now tracked correctly. They weren’t broken for
you; they were broken for us.

Badge share events —
badge_sharedcorrected tobadge.sharedto match the dot-notation convention used everywhere else. Badge share completions were fragmenting from the campaign funnel view. -
Email optin events — same fix:
email_optin_submitted→email.optin.submitted. -
Upsell impression tracking —
ANALYST_PASS_UPSELL_SHOWNwas missing from the server-side enum entirely, so every upsell impression went unrecorded. It’s added now.
The email drip sequence for trial completers (Day 1/3/7 follow-up after finishing the Security+ trial) is also pre-deployed in this build. It’s dormant until a sending key is configured — nothing sends yet.
