RECLAIM CITY

THE CITY, TOGETHER

Everyone playing Reclaim City, counted together. No one is ranked.

Counting the city…

Breach rates now count email addresses only.

What we collect and what we delete

Reclaim City counts anonymous gameplay events on our own server — missions started and finished, districts cleared, and the one answer you pick in each debrief. No ads, no third parties, no accounts. “Players” are anonymous browser sessions: one person on a phone and a laptop counts twice.

Every number here is grouped. Each place on the board has at least 50 players; smaller places are folded into a bigger one, and we never show a place next to a smaller place inside it.

If you turn sharing off, the game says goodbye to our server, and that night we delete everything this browser sent us this month from the connection it's on now. We keep only the fact that one more person opted out. Server backups that may still hold it roll over within about a week.

Anyone can go ghost: it switches us off. Players who take back the whole city first keep what they already did in the totals — they earned it. Anyone who goes ghost earlier has what their browser sent us this month deleted that night, just like turning sharing off, and can cancel from the same browser and connection until then. They're counted as ghosts unless they bring their data back. Anyone whose data was deleted can send their saved game again and rejoin the totals.
